Passenger Strips; American Airlines: "American Airlines Flight 725, scheduled to fly nonstop from Boston to Los Angeles on Friday, was diverted to Oklahoma City after a disruptive passenger took his clothes off and had to be subdued.
American Airlines told KNBC that as the passenger stripped his clothes off, he was restrained at first by other passengers. After being forced to put his clothes back on, flight attendants subdued him with a flexible handcuff.
The plane, which was due to land at 2:05 p.m. at Los Angeles International Airport, landed in Oklahoma City, where the disruptive passenger was handed over to local law enforcement authorities, the airline spokesperson said.
The plane refueled and took off for Los Angeles, where it was expected to arrive at LAX shortly after 3 p.m."
