Happiness Increases with Age
"The study is based on interviews with about 28,000 Americans between the ages of 18 and 88, and took place over a thirty-two year period, from 1972 to 2004. Happiness levels tended to fluctuate along with economic rises and falls, but, by and large, the oldest people were always the happiest. 33 percent of all 88-year-olds proclaimed themselves to be 'very happy,' as opposed to 24 percent of people under 25."
